Event Series Event Series: 2024 Launch into Research

Reading, Writing, and Measuring Impact

September 25 @ 10:00 am 11:00 am EDT

Are you interested in conducting research or starting off on your own projects? The Launch Your Research series is designed to teach you the ancillary knowledge not often taught in classes but that you need to know to be successful in research.

This session is designed to help you navigate academic publishing. We will cover the different types of research articles, how to effectively read them, and the basics of manuscript preparation. We will also provide guidance on creating figures, submitting to journals, and choosing the right publication for your work. Additionally, this session will help you establish and manage your researcher profiles on platforms like ORCID and Google Scholar.

This is free to attend and open to all. If you can’t make the time, the session will be recorded for later viewing.
